According to Us Weekly, Taylor Swift and Tom’s long, public honeymoon is over as they had their first major spat at the beginning of August. Stephayne and Michael Potts, the couple who adopted a 23 year old Ukrainian man Artur Samarin, that later posed as a high school student, are facing criminal charges after it was revealed that they used him to take about $13,000, worth of medical assistance and free food in Pennsylvania, even when they knew his true identity as an illegal immigrant.   The man, Arthur Samarin who called himself Asher Potts, is also accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl while in high school. According to ABC News 27, the couple also knowingly made false statements to the Dauphin County Assistance Office in Pennsylvania in order to get the public handouts. For the past 6 days, a dying man was spotted abandoned and unattended to at the dustbin ground by the fence of the Yaba College of Technology. The LIB Eyewitness who sent in photos, has now given an update. Along with a friend, the authorities were contacted and an ambulance was taken to the scene. The man has now been rescued and transported to the hospital.

Fulani herdsmen who graze their cattle in areas that are not designated for grazing will soon be sent to jail for six months without an option of fine. This is according to a new bill titled 'Prohibition of Cattle and Other Ruminants Grazing in Ekiti, 2016' that was passed by the Ekiti state House of Assembly on Tuesday. The legislatures at their plenary unanimously passed the law. The bill presently awaits the accent of the state governor, Ayo Fayose. Speaker of the House, Kola Oluwawole, while speaking on the proposed law said; “If the bill is eventually accented to by the governor, it will now become crime for any cattle, sheep and goat to graze on undesignated land for ranches in Ekiti". Part of the new bill reads ″Anyone found violating the bill upon conviction shall be sentenced to six months in prison without option of fine. Nigerian singer GT the Guitarman and his wife Annie have welcomed their first child. The baby born at about 9am yesterday, August 25th has been named Aramide. The couple got engaged on January 12th this year. Their traditional wedding took place on April 24th at Ozubulu, Anambra State. A middle-aged woman was paraded in the streets of the suburban setting for stealing Ksh.5, 000 from a Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) customer on Thursday, August 25 in Ruiru town, Kenya. The suspect was taken round the town with a placard written: "I am a thief. Mimi ni mwizi." hung on her neck. According to eDaily Kenya, the suspect was caught on closed-circuit television (CCTV) stealing Ksh.5, 000 from a lady’s bag when the client had gone to fill deposit slips a few metres away. KCB Ruiru branch operations manager Moses Mwanza, who confirmed the incident said the woman has been arrested and she is being held at Ruiru Police Station. CCTV footage further showed the suspect was part of a three-member female gang. The other two managed to escape and authorities are on a manhunt for them.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo yesterday disclosed that the removal of oil subsidy has saved the Federal government N1.4 trillion. He said this while speaking at the the 15th Joint Planning Board and National Council on Development meeting in Kano state.  “With the deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector, there has been a significant increase in the availability of petrol throughout the country for the savings of N1.4 trillion on subsidy payments alone” he said
